Rent with CarsTXT

Peer-to-peer car rental

Peer-to-peer car rental means renting a car straight from the person who owns it. On CarsTXT, renters browse cars listed by local owners and request to book, and owners keep 100% of the rental price.

For renters

  1. Browse cars from local owners. Search by city or zip code and price. Sports cars, SUVs, sedans and trucks.
  2. Pick your dates and request to book. You see the daily price and the total before you send the request.
  3. The owner confirms. The owner or the CarsTXT team contacts you to confirm pickup, payment and the owner's rental terms.

For car owners

Important: insurance and verification

CarsTXT is a listing marketplace. CarsTXT does not insure listed vehicles and does not verify renters. Owners are responsible for insuring their car for rental use and for checking each renter's license and insurance. Renters should confirm the rental terms and insurance with the owner before pickup.
