Terms of Sale & No-Refund Policy

All sales are final. No refunds. You agree to these terms by ticking the box on the checkout page before you pay.

1. Who these terms cover

These Terms of Sale apply to every payment you make to CarsTXT ("CarsTXT", "we", "us") on carstxt.com, including payments made through our card processor, Stripe. They are part of the CarsTXT Terms & Conditions at carstxt.com/privacy.

2. What you can pay CarsTXT for

Buyer contact fee (a seller pays to see a buyer's contact details): $4.99 per buyer. Listing upgrades for a car for sale: Premium $4.99, Exclusive $9.99 (Facebook posting included), each for 30 days. Facebook posting: $3.99 one time per car, $1.99 with Premium, included with Exclusive. CarsTXT Report (vehicle history): $10.99 or $24.99. Pre-purchase multi-point inspection: $249.99. Rental owner fee: $49.99 each time your car is rented through CarsTXT. Find Me A Mechanic shop or mobile mechanic plan: $24.99 per month. Insurance agency lead plan: $39.99 per month, or the promo price shown at checkout. The price and description shown on the Stripe checkout page is what you are buying and what you pay, and it controls if it is different from this list.

3. All sales are final. No refunds.

Every payment to CarsTXT is final and non-refundable, in full or in part, once your payment goes through. This includes, for example, when you change your mind; when you do not use what you paid for; when a car sells, does not sell, or is removed; when a buyer, seller, renter, owner, mechanic, agency or customer does not answer or does not follow through; when a report shows little or no history; when an inspection finds problems or finds none; and when you get fewer leads, calls or bookings than you hoped.

4. Monthly plans: cancel any time, no refunds

Accepting one tow / transport load without a membership costs $49.99 per load and is non-refundable.

Mechanic, insurance agency and tow / transport company plans ($29.99 per month) renew automatically every month on the same date and are charged to your card until you cancel. You can cancel at any time by emailing [email protected]. Cancelling stops future charges. Your plan stays active until the end of the month you already paid for. There is no refund or credit for partial months, unused time or unused leads.

5. Services start right away

Buyer contact details, listing upgrades, leads and plans start, and reports are ordered, as soon as you pay. You ask CarsTXT to start right away and agree that, to the extent the law allows, you give up any right to cancel for a refund once the service has started.

6. If CarsTXT cannot provide what you paid for

If CarsTXT cannot provide a service at all (for example, no report can be produced for the VIN, or no inspector is available for the car), CarsTXT will, at its choice, provide a replacement service of the same value or a credit you can use for future CarsTXT services. This is not a cash refund. If you were charged twice by mistake for the same thing, CarsTXT will refund the duplicate charge. Nothing in this policy takes away any right that the law says cannot be waived.

7. Contact us before disputing a charge

If you think a charge is wrong, email [email protected] first so we can look into it. You agree not to dispute or charge back a payment that you authorized and that this policy covers. If you do, CarsTXT may send your card company a copy of these terms and the record of your acceptance, and may pause or close your account, listings or plan.

8. Receipts

After you pay, Stripe emails a receipt to the email address you entered at checkout. It shows CarsTXT, what you paid for, the amount and the date. If you did not get it, email [email protected].

9. CarsTXT is a marketplace

CarsTXT connects buyers, sellers, renters, rental owners, drivers, mechanics and insurance agencies. CarsTXT is not a party to any sale, rental, repair or insurance policy between you and another person, and money you pay to another person is not paid to CarsTXT and is not covered by this policy. Reports and inspection results are information only; CarsTXT does not guarantee a vehicle's history or condition.

10. Your agreement is binding

Before you pay, the checkout page asks you to tick a box agreeing to these Terms of Sale. By ticking that box and completing payment, you agree that these terms are a binding contract between you and CarsTXT. Ticking the box has the same effect as signing on paper. CarsTXT keeps a record of your acceptance with the version of these terms, the date and time, your email, the payment, and your IP address and browser.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any dispute about them will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.

12. Changes
