CarsTXT Business Package Agreement

1. CarsTXT is a marketplace. CarsTXT is a technology platform where businesses post packages and independent drivers choose which ones to deliver. Drivers are independent contractors, not employees or agents of CarsTXT. CarsTXT does not pick up, carry or deliver packages.

2. You verify every driver yourself. Before you hand over any package, you will check the driver's information yourself: that their photo ID matches the person in front of you, that the car and license plate match, and anything else your business requires. CarsTXT's own sign-up checks do not replace yours, and CarsTXT does not guarantee any driver's identity, background, driving record, license or insurance.

3. You pay drivers directly. You pay each driver the price you agreed, directly to the driver. CarsTXT does not collect, hold or process those payments and is not responsible for any payment, tip, chargeback or payment dispute between you and a driver.

4. Your packages. You will describe each package accurately, pack it safely, and never post illegal, hazardous or prohibited items. You are responsible for insuring your own goods. CarsTXT is not responsible for loss, damage, theft or delay of any package.

5. Disputes. Any dispute about a delivery is between you and the driver. You agree to indemnify CarsTXT against claims that come from your packages, your instructions or your dealings with drivers.

6. Driver privacy. You will use a driver's name, phone and other details only to complete that delivery and will not share them.

7. Electronic signature. Typing your name and ticking the agreement box is your electronic signature and has the same effect as signing on paper. CarsTXT keeps a copy of this signed agreement with the date, time and IP address.
